I design the products, coordinate the campaigns, write the blogs, create the content, manage the socials, update the website. When customers ask to speak with Customer Service - yep, that's me! My Origin Story
For almost two decades, I was a high school English teacher, so you could say I'm resourceful. Day in and day out, teachers make it work, even when there's no plan, no resources, no support, and no rest. It's the best training ground for becoming a scrappy small business owner.

I started my business in 2018 by accident. I had a good idea for a product, and I wanted to see if I could get it made, despite having no background in apparel design or soft goods manufacture. Step by step, lesson by lesson, and little by little, I turned a project into a side hustle, which became a full time job and eventually a small but successful values-driven brand called Bee's Knees.

Since then, other small business owners and solopreneurs have asked for my help. I'm both a doer and an adviser, a builder and a coach, a peer and a mentor, but above all, I'm still a teacher at heart. I didn't learn all this so I can keep it to myself! My ultimate goal is to share what I've mastered so I can help other solopreneurs take big steps toward their small business dreams.
